A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Microsoft IIS 5.0 running on Microsoft Windows 2000. IIS 5.0 is installed and running by default on Microsoft Windows 2000 server products. This vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to run arbitrary code on the victim machine.I know a lot of my Network Operating System Class mates read this blog. (well 1 or 2 do at least), (well the only people who do read it). Needless to say, if you run Win2K Pro or Server, follow the links to the CERT site, read about it then go over to Microsoft and update your system. Don't say I did not wanr you!
